About Us

Born into a family of bakers, Karen Ross (KayRo) grew up smelling freshly baked cakes and licking many bowls.  In November 2015, Karen, who did not enjoy being the kitchen, decided to bake her own birthday dessert – Cookies N’ Creme cupcakes.  Her family fell in love with those cupcakes and began asking for different ones each Sunday for the family dinner.  It was then that Karen found a hidden gift…she would be the next legacy baker (following in the footsteps of her grandmothers, mother, aunts, and sisters). This was the birthing of Sweets by KayRo.

On May 2, 2016, Sweets by KayRo, LLC became an official, licensed cottage business.  We have grown from just baking cupcakes to now baking delicious cakes, cookies, and brownies.  What sets us apart from other bakers is that we believe in letting the customer build their own dessert….”you think it and we will bake it.”

It is the dream of Sweets by Kayro, LLC to one day have products on the store shelves…
